I have been working with words for around two decades and my features, reviews and opinions can be read in a number of major magazines and newspapers including The Guardian, The Independent, Men’s Health, Maxim, Zest, Runner’s World, Horse, and Eve. I have also worked with major brands such as TDK and Samsung, producing engaging and succint marketing material for a number of their key campaigns.

I learnt my trade at Dennis Publishing, where I worked on Stuff Magazine and Hi-Fi Choice, before helping to launch PC Gear. I became freelance fifteen years ago, starting out as a ‘gadget girl’. I have since expanded my writing repertoire to include travel, health and fitness, sport, celebrity interviews, and features on just about anything from pilot training to veteran showjumpers.

I don’t just peddle prose for magazines, I also provide on-line content for the likes of The Guardian and Horse & Country TV. When I’m not writing copy I’m editing it – often turning average copy into something with a bit of sparkle. Writing snappy heads, sells and photo captions is also part of the job.

Unlike many freelancers I’m not afraid of life beyond my screen, and will happily present to a camera, microphone or group of people. I am currently a sports presenter for Horse & Country TV. Previous jobs include presenting the latest gadgets on Something for the Weekend and making promotional films for Samsung.
